ClicK me!

Despite of about 40° C in my room I finished today my work on KBrilliant Buttons 1.1.

There are now 70 Buttons on http://www.kde.org/stuff/buttons.php.
As well as the package on kde-look.

I've also redesigned the site and danimo add a javascript for autogenerating a copy'n'paste code -- what a awesome thing =)

Cause the buttons are looking very silly and unreadable at 1280x1024, I decided to make bigger buttons. The codename is blubb (bigger-lighter-usable-brilliant-buttons) ;)

KBrilliant buttons 1.1 nears

1.0
29 buttons

1.1
~ 61 buttons

Yup, after 5 hours of work, three packages aspirin and 1 hour discussion about the sense of such little buttons, there are 61 buttons available. (http://www.kde.org/stuff/buttons.php)
Until 1.1 there will be maybe more, one for the women is still missing :/

At least I won't release much more on http://www.kde.org/stuff/buttons.php cause the page is already very very full (or maybe I redesign it? dunno)

So, send me your buttons wiches!

brilliant buttons for KDE

I bored yesterday so much that I desided to make 27 brilliant buttons for kde apps.
I've tried to make one for the more important.

The buttons are currently available on kde-look.

I had already seen them on kde.org, but now they are away. (maybe the kidnappers of amaroK [theB0T] are behind this disappearance ;-) )

UPDATE: they are back again KLick me :)

¸2nd¸ amaroK 1.3 overview

Since the last overview hasn't changed that much, so I'll tell you this time more about the awesome party mode feature.

Screenshots are on B!T-Freaks.net

Well, what does this feature do?

It's some kind of combination of the random- and the append suggestions feature. I know this says not very much about the party mode but it describes it in a very easy way. So let my go deeper. If one song is played the mode takes it from the playlist and add another (or a group of others), this could be a random taken or one from the suggestions or from a special playlist/genre. So the party mode gives the ability to a constant rotation of songs, either in a defined group of songs or complete randomly.

But there are of course new features since the last overview:

  • Now there are tooltips in the cover manager, so you haven't to guess anymore
  • The script manager got icons, looks really fancy ;)
  • The playlist window got a new analyzer (screenshots), if they (ALL) will be in 1.3 isn't yet clear, cause some are not really scalable as you can see
  • The wiki tab is now also more fancy. It got some new features, I guess it will topic of the next overview :)
  • The party mode also got some polishing, but nobody knows what exactly ;) — maybe I should ask sebr?!
  • Something I've forgotten in the last overview: Shouter (a script for streaming) is now Part of amaroK and develops really fast
Special: Sandro Giessl (Plastik) and Patrice Tremblay (Lipstik) are planning to make a window decoration/style only for us :D
